Look for Vital Signs

As I promised to discuss what about what my passion or what I discovered myself.. But instead of making it is all about me , let me give you a context I want to drive towards why we need to discover our internal passion and groom it.

We all social conditioned from the day we are born and society tries to fix you with in the social system as like a robot.   Finish education, get in to a carrier/job/business with in the options presented (not necessary a choice based on interest or passion but simply pick best with in what available to us), get married, have kids, worry about parenting them and their education, and fix them in same social system. Thru the process people become robots with in the norms of social conditioning. Even people break the social norms only to certain elements but still get back in to the same social structure.  But societies are not evolved about managing or enriching the retirement and satisfying/fulfilling end of life scenarios

Here are few practical scenarios:

One of my uncle (Subba rao) retired from a govt. employment, kids all settled either abroad are away from their home town. He was high energy and carrier focus while working. Also kept himself physically fit too, but once he retired he lost all his focus and became week. It’s all cribbing with not having kids attention and felt world betrayed him.  Life became so tasteless and could not survive life after retirement.
Another of my uncle (Srinivas) also an employee who had four kids. He is determined to provide best life for kids and put all other things as secondary. His single most goal is to make kids educated and settle them in life. So worked overtime to get money, converted vacation allowances to cash to run the family to get kids do their engineering, masters in comfort/luxury.   By the time retirement came he is so drained and at sixty had heart attack and in ICU for a month seeing kids only thru glass windows before passed away. Is this is all life all about?

Another uncle (Rajaram) who is also retired and had comfortable life living with wife, despite kids are far away. As he had few friends around. Once his wife passed away, he could not live more than six months It is because his love for wife, but does not know a life without her for most of his life. He could not survive the vacuum that his wife left.

In all these scenarios the constant theme is we are social conditioned to live one way of taking care of family/kids. It is all about responsibilities of family which never left any scope to think about “I” or myself. Even at times it comes it pushed off by other pressing things (Not sure all of them are that important in grand scheme of things). Are we robots who’s only aim is to build next generation robots to put to work?. But we are not robots for sure, we have passion and internal drive to satisfy our soul. There are some things we do will make our souls happy, that burning passion or callings of soul is what I call  “Vital Signs” of a person.  The reason I call it vital signs because that’s what drive your soul to look for its happiness. If we keep these “Vital signs”  going in us ,we could have extended fulfilling life till the end.

How do you know what is your vital signs is a tricky thing, with the social conditioning and social norms we got in to a routine and start trying to find happiness in itself. The religion, culture, society all says that’s the life.  So try to come out of those norms and look what makes you happy beyond all these boundaries. Try explore the things you loved in the past but gave up.  If you love drawing in the past, try to spend few hours a week to draw something creative and see it makes you feel energized and get you feel good. Or it is traveling and meeting new people, hiking a trail, doing wood work (Lots of westerners got this as hobby in their garage to build something in their old age), writing poetry, working on a social cause. Follow your soul and heart , identify what is your inner “Callings” and try to spend few hours a week on it every week so that becomes part of routine where you spend time for yourself to satisfy your soul.

So by this time you realized my inner calling is .. I love to write on human psychology and improve my perspective of world and help others to extend their perspectives.  Re-learn human civilization  without the boundaries of religion, nationality and all other isam’s. Understand and write  about human evaluation  (Not physical but emotional and thought ).

Hope this is informative to you all and like to know more about your Vital signs… I appreciate your feedback…

What is Reality?

I Recently read an Interesting quote about Time “  Time Does Not Actually Exist. Clocks Exist. Time is just an agreed upon construct. We have taken distance (one rotation of the earth and one orbit of the sun) divided it up into segments. Then given those segments Labels. While it has its uses we have been programmed to live our lives by the construct as if it were real. We have confused our shared construct with something that is tangible and thus has become its slave ” This quote raised so many questions and the more you try to analyze it leads to more questions.  What if Time as the universal agreed construct does not exist it is hard to imagine life….. But if you go back around 100 to 200 years ago where clocks are not that easily accessible or accurate as it looks now. They used to be lot more simple clocks as simple as candle clock or shade of the long tower to decide the time of the day.  Most of the accuracy is only towards an hour at

Is Indian Partition is Politician's wish or people's Desire

Recently I had a discussion with a friend related to Indian partition and Gandhi’s death. The consensus seems there is enough justification for Nathuram Godse’s anger. The percentage of people believe Godse being a martyr is growing from last decade or so,  whereas in 1950 only very cult  RSS followers believed in Godse argument. But with a string of BJP governments and Hindutva religious spread changed the popularity of the argument. The argument goes like this  “ Gandhi could have stopped the partition but he did not stop it as he only wants Nehru to be PM of India. Gandhi/Nehru had a cloud to convince Jinnah and they did not put enough efforts to stop it due to their selfish needs over the country".   Gandhi has a magic wand to stop the partition and he did not do it?.  But the argument I want to make is it is the people’s choice. They want the partition, plain, and simple. Yes India Had Elections before Independence How many of us know that  India has democ
